Gameness Gi + 1 month of BJJ = $100

We’ve put together a new student package for those just getting started with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We are offering a new white Gameness Air gi (MSRP $119), a white belt, and an unlimited month of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for $100.*

Gameness makes high quality products for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission wrestling. These gis are well-made and will stand up to years of training. We currently have sizes A1 – A4 available. Check out the sizing chart below to get a rough idea of sizing. Feel free to email or call with any questions.

January Schedule Update

After many requests we are adding Sunday open mats again. Sunday open mat will run from 5-7PM every Sunday except January 22nd. In order to not have three training days in a row we are moving Tuesday open mats to Wednesday nights from 7-9PM. Monday and Thursday gi classes will remain the same. We hope this gives everyone more time to train and get to work on those New Year’s resolutions.

December Schedule Back To Normal

The Summit BJJ schedule will be returning to normal starting Thursday, December 1st. We were running a reduced schedule for October and November due to conflicts with seasonal productions in our shared space. Now that they have completed, we are returning to usual 3 days a week: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday at 7PM. Check the schedule page for more information.

Temporary Schedule for October and November 2011

Summit BJJ will be running a reduced schedule for the months of October and November. Because we will not be having Thursday classes and losing a number of classes later in the month, we’ll be offering a reduced rate of $35 per month for the months of October and November. In addition to the price cut, we’ll also be adding a temporary no-gi class on Tuesday nights. A full listing of classes is shown below. Be sure to update your schedule accordingly.

We’re Moving! …again

Summit BJJ will be moving to the Washington Hall building located at 153 14th Ave on August 1st. Washington Hall was built in 1908 and has served as a cultural center, fraternal lodge, settlement house, and most recently a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu club. We’re Moving!

Summit Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will be leaving Bellevue Ave E for its new home at 954 E. Union St. Starting January 31, 2011, classes will be held at the new location. Class and open mat times will remain the same for the time being, but will be expanded shortly. The new location offers us twice the mat space of the old location as well as more hours to offer classes and training times. Drop by and check us out at 10th and Union!

Promotions

Congratulations to Erling and Kevin on their promotions to blue belt! They put in many hours of hard work over the past two years. These promotions were well deserved. A big thank you to Cindy Hales for all of her help!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the open house and Bar-B-Que on Saturday, July 24th. We had a great time training for a few hours then Bar-B-Que’ing and playing Bocce. The weather was great for the event and we met plenty of nice folks from around the neighborhood. If you didn’t get a chance to stop by the open house, feel free to stop by any night during class.

Mark your calendars! You are invited to an open house and Bar-B-Que on Saturday, July 24th at the club. We will have an open mat from 12 – 1:00 PM, followed by the Bar-B-Que from 1:30 – 5:00 PM. This will be a great opportunity to meet fellow members and for prospective members to learn about the club. It will be a great time and there will be plenty of food and drink. We hope to see you there!

Well, it took us a bit, but we finally have our new t-shirts in stock. T-shirts are $15 and all proceeds go to benefit the club.
